My Maids Featured in Cincinnati Newspaper
My Maids owner and ARCSI Board member Derek Christian was recently featured in an article in the Cincinnati Enquirer business section.
Rather than hunker down and wait for the economy to improve, he also doubled the size of his advertising to promote My Maid Service in electronic and print media. Ads particularly targeted young working professionals and new parents with babies.
Now, the efforts may be paying off. Christian expects revenue this year to top $1 million based on cleaning 11,000 houses in Hamilton, Butler and Warren counties. That compares with $600,000 in revenue from cleaning 6,500 houses last year.
"Our customer loss rate is twice as high now than it was a year ago, but we've been able to replace many of those customers because of our aggressive marketing," Christian told the Enquirer.
