Community Involvement by ARCSI Members in the Residential Cleaning Industry
Whether it is free house cleanings for women undergoing cancer treatments or for disabled veterans, or sponsoring youth activities like sports teams or involvement with youth service organizations, or supporting the arts or local festivals, ARCSI members and their employees are involved in their local communities.
Here are some of the projects and other organizations that they are involved with every day. Page down for stories of their involvement.

Charitable giving and involvement is an individual choice, and while the organizations listed provide a valuable service to their communities, their listing does not constitute an endorsement by ARCSI, and ARCSI assumes no responsibility for their actions or operations.)
Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher - and that's where the Cleaning for A Reason Foundation steps in. This nonprofit offers free professional housecleaning, and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer - any type of cancer.
Cleaning for Heroes is committed to promoting a healthy, clean home environment for our disabled or elderly community heroes and their families. We accomplish this mission by providing free house cleaning services to help make their lives easier.
Whether our heroes belong to the United States Military, our local police force or fire department, providing free house cleaning services is our way of saying "thank you!” for the sacrifices our community heroes make every day for us, our community and our country

Spencer Dean Honored with National Humanitarian Award
Mastercare Home Cleaning
Cleaning for a Reason "Rememberance Award"
When Spencer Dean’s wife died from ALS in 2004, at 48, he learned firsthand how important it is to have help keeping a household together, especially when there are children to take care of and medical bills to pay.
Through the generosity of friends and neighbors, Dean was able to have in-home help with cleaning, cooking, and laundry. Now he’s giving back to the community that supported him and his family by providing something of real value to courageous local women battling cancer.
MasterCare Home Cleaning Services, Dean's professional Santa Barbara maid-service company, has been awarded the exclusive "2009 Remembrance Award” by the Cleaning for a Reason Foundation for providing more free house cleanings for women undergoing cancer treatments than any other cleaning company in the United States.
